  • Drain oil analysis is recommended as a tool to determine engine wear condition
  • Adjust oil feed rate to maintain scrapedown oil BN above 20 mg/KOH/kg
  • Total iron content should be below 250 mg/kg
  • For existing engines, current experience will determine optimum oil BN and feed rate
  • * Product to be determined based upon scrape down oil, TBN and iron level analysis
  • ** Recommendation applies if operating on Low-Sulphur fuel for greater than 2 weeks
